These cutters are suitable for cutting piano wire and equally soft wire as they are equipped with induction hardened precision cutting edges which are hardened to 64HRC.
Due to the cutting edge angle of 12 degrees, the leverage ratio and the handle shape, you can achieve flush cutting to the material being cut for a good professional clean finish. Minimum effort is required.
The Knipex 7421200 cutters are made from a good quality chrome vanadium electric steel that has been oil hardened and forged. They have hardened polished heads and come with plastic coated handles for added comfort and a more positive grip.
